Shoe Fetish & Other News

So... I was cleaning the other day and after I moved 3 pairs of David's shoes from the family room into our closet I realized my husband has a problem... a serious shoe fetish. (the top 3 shelves are his shoes, including the ones on the tote at the bottom... don't pay attention to the disorganization of our messy closet!). Once he got home I explained to him that he needed to get rid of a few pairs. He told me that he had 3 more in the car. It is a little ridiculous. (he has like 5 pair of DC shoes).

In other news... the summer weather has begun- much to my disappointment. We had some beautiful days last week, and now we can't go outside past 10 and I already want to blast the AC. I hate the summer months down here. To make the heat somewhat bearable, we got a blow up pool from Costco. Madden loves it.
And as for baby news... I am almost 32 weeks... I am hoping he will come just a couple of weeks early so hopefully in about 6 weeks I will be close! I just finished painting the nursery yesterday and put up the new bedding. We have the rainforest collection in a swing, bouncer, high chair, jumper and playmat, so when I found the rainforest bedding I had to have it. The green is a little bright but I kind of like how it brightens the room. Having this room done makes me more anxious!
(In between the two wall hangings above the crib I will hang his name... once we decide on it!)

Your nursery is so adorable! Way to be on top of things! Treyden is almost three months old and I am still not done! Oh well. Nice pool, we are going to have to get something like that for Deagan, it gets SO hot here, not as hot as it does there but close. Anyway glad to see you are all doing good, can't wait to meet your new little man

HOLY SHOES!!! (tell David that I'm not even made...that actually I'm impressed.)

That is a fancy little nursery. I love it. I can't wait to have my own home someday and be able to decorate and paint as I please.
I'm excited to meet your new little guy. Not too much longer, ay?

Okay so that is SO funny about David. Because I think I did a post about 6 or so months ago about Porter having a shoe fetish that he got from none other than his DAD! Not me!! I do love shoes, but Kameron and Porter especially love them. Sounds like we have similar husbands too! haha.

And the room turned out so cute. I did lime green and brown for Porter's nursery too! It looks so cute, and the dresser to match is adorable. And good job painting...I did a lot of work on my kids rooms too...and it paid off at my last appointment. haha. Good luck.
